”Stephen Petrie of Little England was named regional Heavenly Builder of the Year at the FMB Yorkshire & Trent Master Builder Awards 2017. Whilst working on a new build project for his clients, Stephen went truly above and beyond to give the best service. The client mentioned that they could be indecisive, but Stephen built up trust and their confidence to make sure they got the project they wanted. In addition, he built and fitted a brand new kitchen for the client's 40th birthday, despite it not being part of the contract, and drove 90 minutes to the quarry to hand-pick every piece of stone for the property as he only wanted the highest quality for his clients. This exceptional level of service made him a more than worthy winner.

”We had a fantastic experience with Little England. We had a total refurbishment of our home and it exceeded all our expectations. There is real quality and attention to detail in everything they do and we had no real issues at all over the six months that the job took . We found the crews that turned up to tackle the various stages of the job from foundations to the woodworking all very good at what they do and respectful and calm in their approach. We must give special mention to Stephen who supervised the whole project and has a gift for problem solving and a very calm no drama way of going about every aspect of the work . We appreciated the near total absence of drama resulting in a no stress approach to such a big project in our lives . They are an ethical hard working talented company. We couldn’t be happier.

”We’ve used Stephen and the Little England team for a number of large and smaller projects in our home. We appreciate their eye for detail and considered point of view on design features. We took confidence from the quality of builds they’ve completed in our area and the level of satisfaction when we speak to others. We highly recommend the team!

”We used Stephen and his team on recommendation from a family friend who’s an interior designer and weren’t disappointed. Our renovation spanned pretty much the entire house and involved taking down a structural wall to make the living space bigger, removing several chimneys, and remodelling the back of the house to make the most of the garden. Outside of a brilliant finish to the work and a renovation we’re delighted with, benefits of working with Little England included; transparent budgeting process; central project manager ensuring the job was always staffed and momentum maintained; brilliant tradesmen and friendly team, and a project delivered on schedule. This last point was essential as we were expecting our second child and needed to move back into the house on a deadline. Couldn’t recommend Little England highly enough.
